Boost employee morale with our Survivior Pack
Survivor's syndrome - the guilt felt by those who survive cuts where colleagues have lost their jobs - is a growing concern for organisations, as the fragile UK economy continues to breed stress and anxiety in the workplace.
A key challenge for organisations that have made redundancies - and also for those which have not faced lay-offs - is to find ways of boosting employee morale and motivation in these difficult times.
To help, Video Arts has created a Survivor Pack of nine DVD-based learning programmes and is offering any three of these programmes for the price of two. The programmes cover areas such as coaching and counselling skills for managers, teamwork, effective leadership and management, stress management, dealing with change and generating positive attitudes.
“Maintaining morale and reducing anxiety, especially if redundancies have been made, are critical to keeping productivity and retention levels high,” said Martin Addison, Managing Director of Video Arts. “An effective way to enhance motivation and morale is to make sure that people feel appreciated. Training is a good way to signal that employees are valued and it can also help to rebuild capabilities. The programmes we’ve included in our Survivor Pack can not only build vital skills, they can also lift the spirits of employees which is particularly important in the current downturn.”
